The Scoop

Gentleman Boisée opens on a spicy trio of black pepper, coriander and geranium that gives the top a bright, aromatic bite. Within moments the composition settles into a more refined heart centered on orris (iris) and Peru balm, which introduce a powdery, slightly resinous floral character that softens the initial spice.

As it dries down the fragrance leans into warm woods: sandalwood, smoldering “burning wood” facets and patchouli form a balmy, slightly smoky foundation that anchors the iris-led middle. The result is a woody-floral-spicy progression that moves from brisk spice to a quietly warm, woody finish.
