The Scoop

Only The Brave opens on a bright citrus accord: Primofiore lemon and mandarin deliver an immediate lift while coriander threads a green, spicy bite through the top. The early brightness is clearly defined by those three ingredients and gives the introduction a crisp, energetic character.

As it develops the composition centres on resinous labdanum supported by violet and a touch of rosemary, bringing a warm, slightly floral-resin heart. The drydown is anchored by amber, a leather accord and cedar wood, where amber and leather provide warmth and cedar a steady woody backbone.
